When design meets espresso excellence, Lavazza A Modo Mio SMEG is born

The Project

Lavazza A Modo Mio Smeg was born from the union between Lavazza's expertise in the world of espresso and Smeg's iconic style. A product that epitomizes iconic design and mixes in the tradition of Italian coffee to create the perfect synergy between Lavazza and Smeg -reflecting back to the design and style queues from the 1950s and 1960s.

We responded to Lavazza's need to describe a new yet timeless product. By using realtime CGI, we can configure the machine and really explore its features, as if it were already on our kitchen counter.

The Concept

The Lavazza A Modo Mio Smeg machine embodies the unmistakable Lavazza experience of true Italian espresso in an elegant and modern aesthetic with a vintage flavor. The refined lines and sophisticated finishes make this machine a real work of art.

Graphical elements and iconic references

Detail

Colors communicate a specific personality. Red, white and black are associated to a tridimensional geometric space that fluctuates around the machine and recalls the iconic references.

The Claim

The premium design of Lavazza A Modo Mio Smeg is designed to make the experience unique from an aesthetic point-of-view, allowing you to enjoy not only the taste of coffee but also its beauty.

We decided on a claim that mirrors and tells of this perfect blend: ""A Beautiful Espresso"", which also references the advertising campaign."

To explain how it works, we've created a series of five video tutorials showing how to use it, all done while maintaining the elegant and refined retro style seen in the fascination video.
